Condition Monitoring Training

As an Approved Training Organisation (ATO), registered by the British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing (BINDT), our vibration and lubrications courses are based on a third party condition monitoring training certification scheme which is aligned with ISO 18436 standards.

BINDT is an accredited certifying body in accordance with ISO/IEC 17024 offering personnel certification against criteria set out in international and European standards through the Personal Certification in Non Destructive Testing (PCN) Certification Scheme.

One of the many benefits of achieving PCN certification is that successful candidates will gain a recognised qualification, which enhances career prospects and provides a certificate of competence.

Training Matrix

All our training courses exceed the syllabus guidelines for ISO and PCN standards and where required training material can be adjusted to align with our client’s business and operational development needs. All our training packages are delivered by experienced and accredited personnel.  Our training packages cover the following key subject areas:

  • Vibration Analysis

    VIBRATION ANALYSIS CAT 1

This course is an introductory level into vibration analysis and will enable the candidate to establish competency in the fundamental key skills and understanding of monitoring plant and process equipment.

The course is ideal for plant personnel such as reliability engineers, technicians, maintenance supervisors, rotating machinery engineers, predictive maintenance coordinators and any personnel that work in industries where rotating and reciprocating machinery is employed.

This course is based on the ISO 18436-2 certification program vibration analyst category 1 syllabus and is designed to prepare staff for the BINDT PCN VA Cat 1 Certification Exam. The course is accredited by BINDT PCN to CM GEN App D.

    vibration analysis training

    VIBRATION ANALYSIS CAT 2

This course is aimed at those who have been trained to Vibration Analysis Category I, or recognised equivalent, including those with appropriate vibration analysis experience. It is aimed at those who want to be confident and capable of diagnosing a wide range of fault conditions, correct certain conditions and take accurate measurements.

The course is recommended for plant personnel requiring a basic understanding of the analytical methodologies used to determine machinery conditions for improvement of predictive maintenance programmes results. It is ideal for maintenance engineers, condition monitoring engineers, technicians, reliability managers, quality engineers, design engineers etc.

This course is accredited by BINDT PCN to CM Gen App D. and is aligned with the ISO 18436-2 certification programme Vibration Analysis Category II syllabus.

    vibration Analysis Level 2
  • Lubrication Analysis

    LUBRICATION ANALYSIS CAT 1

This course is an introductory level into lubrication analysis and will enable the candidate to establish competency in the fundamental key skills and understanding of lubrication and lubrication testing.

It is ideal for laboratory technicians, reliability engineers, technicians, maintenance supervisors, rotating machinery engineers, predictive maintenance coordinators and any personnel that work in industries where rotating and reciprocating machinery is employed, or where hydraulic systems are being utilised.

This course is accredited by BINDT PCN to CM Appendix C and is aligned with ISO 18436-4 certification programme Lubrication Analysis Category 1 syllabus.

    Lubrication Analysis Level 1

    LUBRICATION ANALYSIS CAT 2

This course will provide candidates with the knowledge to establish, implement and manage a lubrication programme. Candidates will also learn lubrication best practices and the testing required for a specific lubricant.

Candidates will gain knowledge and understanding to make informed lubrication decisions regarding the plant and have a greater appreciation of the fundamental key skills of lubrication and laboratory testing.

This course is accredited by BINDT PCN to CM Appendix C and is aligned with ISO 18436-4 certification programme Lubrication Analysis Category 2 syllabus.

    Lubrication Analysis Level 2

    LUBRICATION AWARENESS

Gain a basic understanding of lubrication and learn how to recognise common lubrication issues in the plant. Our half-day lubrication awareness workshop is designed for fitters, mechanics, maintenance technicians and any personnel that work with lubrication.

This course will provide candidates with an overview of the importance of using the correct type of lubricant, lubrication best practices and much more.

    Lubrication Awareness
  • Bearing Training

    Bearing Awareness

Gain an insight of ball and roller bearings to identify common faults and best practices. Our half-day bearing awareness workshop is designed for fitters, mechanics, maintenance technicians and any personnel that work with bearings.

This course will provide candidates with a basic understanding of bearing types, selections, loads, sealing arrangements and lubrication.

    ball and roller bearing training

    Ball and Roller Bearing Training

Candidiates will learn how to install and remove ball and roller bearings, diagnose common types of failure and gain a good knowledge of bearing types and their use in applications. Course candidiates will use specialised equipment to correctly mount and remove bearings.
