About us

Many businesses depend on key pieces of machinery to run their operations. If these critical machines unexpectedly breakdown, it can lead to lost production time, expensive repair costs and compromise safety.

At PCMS Engineering, we work with companies across all industries to prevent machine failures and maximise equipment productivity by utilising our portfolio of reliability maintenance solutions.

Oil analysis is a key part of our service offering. Oil samples are collected from our client’s operating machinery and sent to our in-house oil laboratory based in Manvers, Rotherham.

Our team of lab staff performs a number of physical and chemical tests on the sample to determine the condition of the lubricant, the level of contaminants in the oil and the health of the machine.

The results and recommendations are then uploaded to our web-based reporting platform, OMEGA.

As a result of tracking and comparing oil analysis samples over the life of a particular machine, trends can be established which can help extend equipment life and eliminate costly repairs.
